Internship

The Institute for Climate Protection, Energy and Mobility is currently looking for interns for an internship of three to six months.

The Institute for Climate Protection, Energy and Mobility (IKEM) is a Berlin-based NGO and affiliated institute of the University of Greifswald. IKEM works in an interdisciplinary manner and deals with key scientific questions on the way to a sustainable economic and social order. Central research topics are the expansion of renewable energies, questions of climate protection as well as the future of energy networks and transport systems.

Your tasks

At IKEM, you can expect varied and challenging tasks. Depending on your interests, professional background and level of qualification, you can get involved in the following areas of activity:

  • Content-related and independent collaboration in research projects
  • Supporting the public relations team or the institute’s management
  • Preparation of project applications as well as other tasks related to project or science management
  • Content preparation and organization of project workshops and scientific conferences

Your profile

We are looking for students (e.g. law, political science, social science or communication science as well as economics or business administration) with above-average academic performance and interest in IKEM’s research topics.

Remuneration

Interns are compensated with a monthly wage of 500 € (based on 40 working hours per week).
