Doctoral Candidate/PostDoc (m/w/d) – Energy and Digital Transformation

IKEM is looking for a research associate to work on an EU Horizon project in the field of the dual transformation of energy transition and digitalization.

IKEM is a non-profit association and independent research institute with around 70 employees and more than 10 years of experience in interdisciplinary research on climate action at the intersection of law, economics and politics. IKEM is an affiliated institute of the University of Greifswald and has been recognized as a non-governmental organization by the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC) since 2017.

The position is suitable for both doctoral candidates and postdocs, with the possibility of pursuing a doctorate. Further academic qualifications will be actively supported. The position is part-time: 60% for doctoral students and 50% for postdocs. The start date is planned for spring 2025 (April).

What we expect from you

  • Completed law degree with at least one above-average examination or other proven doctoral qualification or
  • Equivalent degree in political or social sciences
