Abstract

Rights of nature promise an effective protection of the environment and a change of perspective in dealing with nature through the symbolic effect of law. In Germany, the topic is currently viewed and discussed mainly through a dogmatic lens. A systematizing look at already existing rights of nature all over the world shall provide new perspectives.
