Abstract

Within the Campfire project, the construction of an electrolyser and an ammonia production plant is planned, which will be supplied with renewably generated electricity. For this purpose, several wind turbines and a solar field are to be erected on the planned site or in a spatial context. The study analyses the legal requirements for this plant combination and examines whether privileges or even exemptions from state-induced charges and levies can be considered. In the second part of the study, the legal requirements for the approval of the ammonia production plant are identified and the necessary steps for the approval procedure are presented.
