Humboldt Communication Lab

The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation organizes a Communication Lab (ComLab) twice a year for its scholarship holders and young journalists from all over the world. In this event, participants are accompanied by experts in science communication as they work on a journalistic product related to a specific topic. This results in creative storytelling formats and innovative methods of science communication.

In June 2021, Anika Nicolaas Ponder, Head of the Sustainability & Innovation department, hosted the third edition of ComLab entitled “Fair for all? Sustainability and social justice”. She contributed her expertise in science communication and presented the IKEM projects Infographic Energy Transition Coloring Book and EQT – The Gender Equality Toolkit.
