Susan Wilms is a member of the IKEM management board.
Her research focuses on the legal aspects of sector-coupling, esp. Power-to-X.
She studied law at the universities of Hamburg and Bonn and specialized in public law and international and European law and graduated from the National University of Ireland, Galway with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree. She completed her legal clerkship at the Kammergericht in Berlin with placements at the Federal Foreign Office and the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva. Prior to her work at the IKEM, Mrs. Wilms worked for a non-profit foundation in projects related to reducing bureaucracy. She has experience in development cooperation and has been involved in scientific studies on sustainability and human rights in the economy.
