Manfred Greis, born in 1953, spent more than 37 years in various management positions for Viessmann, the internationally active heating technology manufacturer, most recently as Chief Representative responsible for corporate communications, strategic association work and political affairs. In numerous honorary offices, including as President of the Federal Association of the German Heating Industry (BDH), as a member of the Executive Council of the Association of the European Heating Industry (EHI) and as a member of the Environment and Energy Committee of the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DIHK), he has been committed for many years to the successful implementation of the energy turnaround in the heating market, taking due account of all three pillars of sustainability.
Due to his age, Greis left the Viessmann company and the boards of the industry associations at the end of 2018 and now works as a freelance consultant.
