Leonie Durschang is a Research Associate at the Institute for Climate Protection, Energy and Mobility, working in the energy law department. She studied law in Mainz and Valencia. After completing her first state examination, she completed an LL.M. degree at the University of Glasgow in the field of international law and security and obtained a Master’s degree with a thesis on climate change litigation. She then gained experience in energy law at an auditing firm. Afterwards, she completed her legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf, with positions at the Federal Foreign Office and a major law firm specializing in energy law. In addition to her legal clerkship, she worked for three months at the United Nations University in Bonn.
