After completing his legal clerkship at Essen District Court and a Master’s degree at Stockholm University, he has been working in the development of renewable energies since 2005. He also works as a lawyer (of counsel) for the law firm Brahms Nebel und Kollegen, which is renowned in the field of energy law.
His practice focuses on the financing and legal structuring of wind and solar projects. After working as Head of Project Development in Germany for ENERTRAG SE, he founded MOTIO RENEWABLE ENERGIES in 2020, which develops wind and solar parks in the Berlin region, northern Germany and Sweden.
The strategic orientation of MOTIO RENEWABLE ENERGIES is based on the “Green B” study developed in cooperation with IKEM, which he initiated during his term of office as a board member of the BWE Brandenburg regional association. A particular focus of the company is on projects in Brandenburg which, in addition to energy generation, also include local use through the storage of electricity and hydrogen to promote mobility.
