Dr. Valentyn Gvozdiy is a lawyer from Ukraine and a partner at GOLAW PartG. He has been an official member of the Berlin Bar Association since 2015. In 2019, Valentyn Gvozdiy was elected Director and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Ukrhydroenergo.

His consulting activities as a lawyer include Ukrainian and international law, with a focus on energy and environmental law, among others. Mr. Gvozdiy has already supported numerous international cooperations for the development of solar, wind and biomass power plants in Ukraine. In the course of Ukraine’s EU accession process and the harmonization of national legislation with EU law, the focus here was on the amended and more stringent environmental legislation requirements.

Mr. Gvozdiy is the Deputy Chairman of the National Bar Association of Ukraine. In 2017 he was awarded the honorary title of “Honored Lawyer of Ukraine”.
