Dodo Vögler is the co-founder and principal responsible for foresight and participation at the Berlin-based strategy and innovation agency Ellery Studio. She and her team support transformation processes and advise both German and international companies and organizations. The focus is on the development of possible and desirable scenarios, on integrated and user-centered innovation projects, and on creative communication approaches. Their methods range from design thinking and scenario techniques to visioning and roadmapping, qualitative research approaches and storytelling, as well as infographics and campaign creation. Her work has received international recognition and awards, including the Netzwerk Zukunftsforschung (Young Scientist Award), Fast Company’s World Changing Ideas Awards and the Spiegel Social Design Award (finalist), as well as the Malofiej Award, the dpa-infographic award, the European Design Award and the ADC Award (winner).
Dodo Vögler is also co-founder of Speculative Futures Berlin and Zukunftsforscherin.de.
In collaboration with IKEM, she is committed to developing and implementing innovative participation formats and workshops. With a particular focus on gender equality in the workplace, she developed the EQT Toolkit in collaboration with IKEM. Factual infographics and humorous illustrations are used to encourage dialogue.
Since the winter semester of 2021, Dodo Vögler has held a substitute professorship at the Hochschule für Gestaltung Schwäbisch Gmünd, with a special focus on Design Futuring, Digital Culture and Innovation Management. With her students, she explores how design and futurology methods can be used to anticipate and visualize future developments and scenarios, thus guiding social change.
