Abdulghani Al Sabouni joined IKEM in August 2020 and is currently a Senior Research Associate in the mobility team. His latest research work focuses on the economic analysis and transferability of autonomous public transportation solutions along with the creation and organization of business models for multi-modal traffic management ecosystems. Prior to joining IKEM, he worked with Mercedes-Benz in the U.A.E. in both technical and management roles. Given his professional experiences in the automotive sector, his main research interest lies in electromobility, automated and connected vehicles, and digitisation. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the American University of Sharjah in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA degree from the Technical University of Berlin in Sustainable Mobility Management.
