Autonomous mobile robots (AMR) are on the rise and are increasingly conquering public spaces.
Thanks to advances in artificial intelligence, AMRs can now be used far beyond industrial applications.
But what is the legal framework for their use?
What regulations must be observed and what are the practical consequences?
In the upcoming online event “Legal framework for autonomous mobile robots in public spaces” , we would like to shed light on precisely these questions.
In a study, the Institute for Climate Protection, Energy and Mobility (IKEM) has examined the legal framework for AMR in public spaces and compiled practical findings based on specific use cases.
The event offers the opportunity to find out about the results of this study and to actively participate in the discussion about the legal challenges and opportunities in dealing with AMR.
Event details
The event will take place on Monday, September 16, 2024 from 14:30 to 16:30 and will be an online event about Microsoft Teams.
During this event, two speakers will present key topics.
Paul Schweidler from HFC Human-Factors-Consult GmbH will present the “rokit” project.
Markus Lehnshack from the Institute for Climate Protection, Energy and Mobility (IKEM) will then present a study.
After his presentation, there will be a QA session in which participants will have the opportunity to ask questions about the content presented and obtain further information.
This event offers an excellent opportunity to find out more about the innovative “rokit” project and the associated study.
The event is open to all interested parties and registrations are possible until the day of the event.
