Climate action just got a fabulous makeover. At this year’s Berliner Energietage—Germany’s premier energy transition conference—IKEM, WWF, and Ellery Studio are teaming up to present an electrifying new science communication format blending facts, flair, and fierce climate commentary.
Moderated by none other than drag queen extraordinaire, Viagra Falls, the event flips the script on traditional climate discourse. Known for her animated video series ‘Infodrag’ that break down energy and climate topics with humor, sass, and smarts, Viagra will guide the audience through an evening of infographics, expert insights, and live performance.
The session features a panel on creative climate communication, with speakers from IKEM, WWF, Ellery Studio, and Omas for Future—diving into how storytelling and diversity can turn climate anxiety into action. The evening will wrap with Climate Cabaret: Green is the New Glam, a live musical performance by Viagra Falls herself.
This marks the first time a drag queen will host a session at the Berliner Energietage, bringing a groundbreaking, inclusive perspective to Germany’s most important Energiewende event.
